Installation
1. Hand tools needed:
*Slotted screwdriver(to pry off wheel center cap if applicable)
*Phillips screwdriver
2. Check to see if the WFW will fit your wheel:
a) Make sure the Disk Brake can be seen through the openings between spokes.
b) Make sure there’s a wheel center cap.
c) Remove the cap to see if there’s a raised lip or groove at the edge of the hole (to hold the cap) and if there’s at least 15mm space from tip of the wheel axle to the wheel surface.
3. Installing:
a) Place the magnet (2 are provided) on the Disk Brake surface.
Caution: Magnets should to be placed on horizontal direction if possible, such as 0°, 180°.
b) Remove wheel center cap.
c) Put the fixer into the wheel center hole and tighten it. (The hole’s diameter must be between 46mm and 76mm). Loosen the 3 small set-screws, and then expend the arms. Place the fixer into the wheel center hole and then turn the large Allen key wrench hard to expend the 3 arms right against the wall under the raised lip or into the groove. While still holding the wrench to push tight, take small Allen key wrench to tighten the 3 small set-screws.
d) Place large taper washer, spacer, mounting base onto the fixer with screws. How many spacers is used is decided by the distance between the magnet and the sensor. After installation, the distance must be 10mm~20mm.
e) If the WFW is mounted on right-hand wheel, then the L/R switch needs to be set to R. Otherwise, set to L.
f) If magnet is placed on the left of the wheel, set the 0°/180° switch to 0°. Otherwise, set to 180°.
g) Put in the TF card which program has been copied into.
h) Put batteries into the chamber.
i) Put on the chamber cover with screws.
To save power, you can turn off WFW by the remote control.
j) Mount WFM onto the mounting base with screws.
k) Adjust sensor and magnet’s position. The sensor must be right overhead of the magnet, and the distance must be 10mm ~20mm.
l) Finished! Turn on WFW by remote control and show it!
m) When WFW is removed, please place it inside the car or other place for safe keeping. A Wheel cap is provided with screwst to cover on mounting base for better looking and keeping clean.
Installation Tips:
1. Right against the hole’s wall the fixer’s 3 arms should be. If possible, put it under the lip. Only when the space it too small, you can put it into the groove. After the 3 set-screws are tightened, please push the fixer lightly to check whether it is fixed well.
2. The sensor must be just overhead of the magnet. If not, images will not be showed.
Important Notes:
1. A remote control is provided to turn WFW OFF & ON. In case of operating remote control from inside of the car, better to open window and reach out the hand as far as possible with remote control towards the WFW lest the vehicle body and solar film etc. should cause shielding to affect the radio frequency transmission. The effective distance of remote control is at least 15 meters (50 feet) at open field.
2. WFW accepts 4 pieces of standard AA-size battery either of regular 1.5V dry-cell/Alkaline type or 1.2V rechargeable type(Ni-MH/Ni-Cd) as power source. Normally, it can run about 5 hours continuously. When images become incomplete, it could be running out of power and needs to be replaced with new batteries to continue operation.
3. WFW should be removed from the wheel and place inside the car or other safe place in case of the following conditions.
a) To go through brushing type of automatic car wash,
b) To drive through bad roads-rough bumpy with pits, mud, flood or snows,
c) To park the car outdoor for long term.
4. Notes when parking:
a) Stay away from the raised shoulder or standing objects to avoid WFW getting damaged when the wheel gets to close.
b) Remove WFW from wheel to place inside the car is strongly suggested when parking car outdoor at unfamiliar public area.
c) A wheel cap is provide with 2 screws to cover on mounting base for better looking and keeping clean.
PC Software:
This software is provided for making program for WFW. Through “Screen Copy”, actually, it is a recording process.
1. Double click <ST2000PC Soft…>
2. Right click on the blue round border (“Tyre”), and select “New”, and a dialogue box will popup, and input a default filename.
3. To play the pictures will be recorded, such as images, AVI etc.
For example:
Use those pictures whose resolution is 72×72 is suggested. Because these pictures need not to be zoomed or shrunk, which will affect effect.
Contrast is as high as possible.
Content should be close to the center, as close as possible.
Run ACDSee(or other image browser)
Resize ACDSee’s window.
4. Drag the red circle to cover the playing pictures.
5. Press “Space”. Recording is started.
6. Press “Space” again. Recording is stopped.
7. Preview:
Right click on “Tyre”, and select “Preview”, and select the file which is saved just now.
Caution: Occasionally, dialogue box can’t be pop up. It is because of our window lose its focus. In this case, left click “Tyre” first, and then right click.
8. Right click on “Tyre”, and select “Play”. Preview the program.
9. Right click on “Tyre”, and selet “Stop”.
10.Right Click on “Tyre”, and select “Output”, and a dialogue box will pop up to select a folder to save output files. After select a folder, this dialogue box is pop up:
11.According to the order of “Water Flow”, key in some characters and click “OK”.
“Water Flow”: After put in TF card and batteries, if vehicle is not running, the lights will show three colors continuously.
For example: If the first is blue, the second is red, and the third is green, then you should key in “BRG” in that dialogue box.
Here, “R” is “Red”, “G” is “Green”, and “B” is “Blue”.
Four files will be created, and then window will be show again.

Water Flow 000.syl
For example: When install right-hand wheel (include right-hand front wheel and right-hand rear wheel), if magnet is placed on the left of wheel, the file used is 003.syl. (By the way, don’t forget to set the switch to “R” and “0°”.) Then, copy 000.syl and 003.syl to TF card.
Notes:
a) Before copy files, format TF card first. Every time need format!
b) When format, please select “FAT32”.
c) TF card can’t be larger than 2G Bytes.
d) Copy the files together into TF card. For example, if you want to copy 000.syl and 001.syl, you should select 000.syl and 001.syl together and then, copy to TF card. It’s wrong to do like that: first copy 000.syl, and next copy 001.syl.
e) TF card must be good quality. Bad sector is forbidden.
9.Right click on “Tyre” and select “Exit”.
